Description

Join this growingly popular conference to hear from early career researchers on the latest research on the Built Environment, Engineering and Computing. The ‘Research in Sustainable Environment (RiSE)’ is an annual conference for PhD candidates and early career researchers to showcase their research in a friendly learning environment. This is a free conference for attendees and open to the public and GCU’s industrial partners.

Call for abstracts is now open. Please email rise@gcu.ac.uk for details on submitting abstracts or register on Eventbrite to attend.

Registration Opens: 1st May 2019

Abstract Deadline: 3rd June 2019

Peer Review Decision: 3rd July 2019



What will you get from the day?

  • Early career researchers can expect to receive feedback on their abstracts and presentations, as well as the opportunity to share their research with an interested audience and potential employers.
  • Members of the public and industry will gain insight into emerging research from up and coming researchers.
