Description

This postgraduate symposium, a collaboration between the Open University and the University of Southampton (and hosted by the University of Southampton), invites MA and PhD students to present their research in individual fifteen-minute papers and gain valuable professional and peer-feedback.

The symposium will also include papers and discussion on developments in the sector, disseminating your work and getting published, and advice on career-paths in and beyond academia.

The Colonial/Postcolonial/Decolonial symposium is open to all postgraduate researchers in the Arts and Humanities working on topics related to colonial, postcolonial, and/or decolonial literatures, cultures, languages, or histories.

The event is convened by Professor David Johnson and Dr Alex Tickell of the Open University, and Dr Stephanie Jones and Professor Stephen Morton of the University of Southampton.
