You are invited to a Research Ready Webinar, as part of the Research Better Together programme. Developed by The University of Birmingham and BVSC Research and funded by through a The National Institute of Health and Care Research Programme Development Grant, Research Better Together aims to enable equitable, collaborative and participatory research activity between academic researchers and VCFSE organisations, in the fields of Health, Social Care and Wellbeing.

Our webinar speakers will be Dr Christine Burt, Director of Research and Innovation at Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, Dr Fatima Zakia Community Connexions Lead at Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust and Keshena Partridge-Bowie, CHERP (Community Hub for Engagement in Research Practice) Manager at BVSC Research.

We will be discussing how we can better connect researchers and communities. Our guests will talk about how Community Connexions and CHERP support the research environment, and the extent to which communities can shape research priorities, and what needs to be done to make this happen more.

If you are interested in learning more about the available infrastructure to support community engagement and involvement in health, social care and wellbeing research, then please join us for this webinar.

This webinar is open to all - including community organisations, researchers from communities and universities, research students, and health, social care and wellbeing providers.

This event will be online, hosted on Zoom. Once you have completed the registration a calendar invite will be sent with all the joining instructions.

Please note: Invites will not be sent immediately. Any issues please contact the organiser.
