Rethinking Leadership for a Green World
About this event
In the eight event of our Research Seminar Series, Dr Bharati Singh, Dr Andrew Taylor and Vanessa Oakes, will discuss the newly published book edited by Dr Andrew Taylor Rethinking Leadership for a Green World. In the book, Dr Bharati Singh wrote a chapter What can young Social Entrepreneurs tell us about Environmental Leadership? Perspectives from Brazil and India, while Vanessa Oakes (together with Adam Bronstone) wrote a chapter The ‘Interesting’ Case of EU Commission Leadership and the Emission Trading Scheme.
Rethinking Leadership for a Green World is a handbook to help Managers, as controllers of most of the worlds resources, first consider relationships between values, narratives actions. Second, to outline the major themes that can inform a new approach to constructing a green world. Third, how to ensure that local models of sustainability are able to flourish in the context of global networks. Fourth, explore specific case studies of markets and organisations that offer insights into the development of integrated solutions and the leadership lessons we can learn.
