Description

Bristol Centre for Economics and Finance - WORKSHOP 2

Applying research to address policy issues

This interactive session will explore how research in accounting, economics and finance can be used to shed light on particular policy issues. Should we have regional minimum wages? Can we reconcile economic and environmental models? What does the recent pay row at the BBC tell us about gender pay? Are concerns about the productivity of the economy misplaced? This session will discuss how research can be used to define social, economic and environmental policies.
