Feel free to come along just for a chat you may have something you want to share. This is also a chance to exchange viewpoints and hear inspirational stories of women’s journeys.

Mary Genis FRSA is the founder and leader of CultureMix Arts. She is a visual and performance artist, a musician, writer, designer and producer devising and delivering projects, activities and digital content that draws inspiration from different cultures to celebrate the arts. Renowned for her ground breaking work developing young talent and nurturing Reading All Steel Percussion Orchestra (RASPO) Mary has won awards for her decades of contribution to UK arts and music including a British Association of Steel Bands (BAS) Hall of Fame Lifetime Achievement Award, a Clore Fellowship and a Cultural Champion Pride of Reading award. Mary is a respected mentor and advisor on how to transform your creative passion into a sustainable business.
Tanya Hemphill, MSc (Dist.), Chartered Marketer set up her own award-winning PR agency with a £3,000 loan from the Prince’s Trust and went on to grow it to a top 10 PR agency in the North West, with clients such as John Lewis. Since then she’s Founded and ran a local lifestyle magazine and a fashion ecommerce company. In typical ‘squiggly career’ style, after the birth of her son she changed career path to become a Senior Lecturer in PR and Digital Marketing – gaining a Masters and co-authoring a textbook along the way.
