Reset. Restart: your networking
Event Information
About this Event
Do you have a Referral Strategy for your business? Do you know that there is a difference between a Referral Strategy and an Enquiries Strategy? With 84% of people trusting a word of mouth recommendation, this is the major source of business for start-up and SME businesses around the world.
When we go networking, the classic question is, “So what do you do?”. Did you know telling people ‘what you do’ reduces the referrals you will generate from your network?
In this workshop, we will explore:
- Distinguishing a Referral Strategy from an Enquiries Strategy
- Social Capital
- Your 'Elevator Pitch'
If you are spending lots of time networking in the hope of finding more business, come to this workshop and let’s Reset. Restart your networking.
Delivered by Andrew Gibson
Andrew Gibson spent the first part of his career working for large, multinational corporations, but in 2007 he figured there was more to life and stepped off the career ladder. He coached people in deprived communities in Bradford to help them start new businesses on their own terms. Their survival rate of 90% after 12 months confirmed he had found his passion in life. He set up his own coaching, training and consultancy firm in 2011. He now helps charities and small businesses with sustainable income generation, runs community regeneration projects whenever he can, and coaches and speaks internationally. He wrote his first book, “What’s Your URP?” which was published in 2019. His second book, “Make Life Simple” was published in July 2020 as the antidote to the complexity of modern life.
This workshop will be delivered online. Link details to follow via email to all registered attendees prior to the event.
This session is part of the Reset. Restart programme. The Reset. Restart programme is here to help you transform, future-proof or grow your business through the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond.
