Description

To celebrate 10 years of supporting musicians and commissioning new music through the the Residency Project, Enterprise Music Scotland is hosting two special events.

6.30pm - 7.30pm
Alison McNeill (voice) & Sasha Savaloni (guitar) with Marjorie Lotfi Gill (spoken word)
A music and poetry performance looking at themes of pilgrimage and influence of Persian poetry. The programme features the Glasgow première of 'Four Attar Songs' by Stuart MacRae, and poetry by Marjorie Lotfi Gill, both commissioned by Enterprise Music Scotland. The programme also features works by Stephen Goss and Marco Ramelli.

8.30pm - 9.30pm
Maxwell Quartet
Residency Project alumni, the Maxwell Quartet perform the world première of a new collaborative work by composer Colin Broom and visual artist Heather Lander. The programme will also include works for string quartet previously commissioned by Enterprise Music Scotland through the Residency Project by David Fennessy and Anna Meredith.
