About this event
Please note: this event is for over 18’s only.
Resident engagement is one of the most important parts of a successful retrofit project. Retrofit on people’s homes can often be invasive and disruptive, so it’s crucial that you have the support of occupants from the very start. Key barriers to resident engagement are tightly linked to a lack of retrofit knowledge, misconstrued cost vs perceived value, and limited trust in the quality of contractors’ workmanship. In this session, you will discover how to overcome these barriers and ensure your resident engagement becomes the key to a successful retrofit project.
RISE is a fully funded, Government backed service, offering support across England. Funded by the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero, the service is delivered by Turner & Townsend. RISE offers a clear and simple pathway for organisations looking to bid for Government funding to deliver domestic retrofit schemes. Our expert-led team creates and delivers high quality training, events, content and one-to-one mentoring. Ultimately, the true impact of RISE is felt most by the hundreds of thousands of people across England who have seen their home – and their lives – improved thanks to carefully planned and professionally delivered programmes of retrofit.
