Would you like to make a difference in your local community? Then come along to the Residents Get Involved event happening at the St Luke’s Community Centre, 90 Central Street, London EC1V 8AJ on Tuesday 14th October at 12pm – 2.30pm.

You will gain insight on the different ways to get involved and represent your local community in Islington.

It’s an opportunity to speak to those who can advise you on:

  • Becoming a school governor
  • Sitting on schools appeals panel hearing
  • Attending and participating at police ward panel meetings
  • Setting up a neighbourhood watch scheme
  • Setting up a food co-op or foodbank
  • Participating at ward partnership meetings
  • Setting up a tenants and residents association (TRA)
  • Volunteering
  • Becoming a Trustee

Come and be a part of local democracy!
