This FREE to attend gives designated teachers and others working to support the education of children looked after the opportunity to learn more about how attachment theory, how insecure attachments can impact on learning and how teachers and schools can support vulnerable learners to build resilience by being attachment aware.
The London Network for Designated Teachers is working closely with Virtual School Heads, to share best practice and research on improving educational outcomes for children looked after. The network is part of the London Schools Excellence Hub for looked after children, funded by the Greater London Authority.
