About this event

This course will be delivered virtually via zoom on Wednesday 19th November – 10am to 1pm.

The world of fundraising has changed immeasurably. Tried and tested methods of fundraising no longer appear to be enough and fundraisers are facing increased pressures from funders, regulatory bodies, and boards. Fundraising is increasingly central to how organisations develop, as well as their project activity. Fundraisers are increasingly acknowledged as leaders in their organisations and the sector. This all creates challenges when it comes to resilience and leadership in the arts, culture and heritage sector.

This training is designed to support fundraisers within the arts, culture and heritage sector, giving participants the confidence, knowledge, skills and networks to thrive in a challenging climate.

The course will cover the following content:

o The core components of resilience in the arts

o Creative resilience as change not survival

o The role of money in resilience

o The implications of resilience for fundraising

o Fundraisers as leaders

o How to multiply leadership and resilience
