About this Event
Before Covid, although mental health issues were rising, organisations continued to generate ‘Badges of Honour’ that negate wellbeing. Explore these through the lens of ‘The Resilient Way’, the answer to achieving both performance and wellbeing.
This thought provoking and active session will explore the cultural norms within organisations such as long working hours, being ‘tough, and chasing control, and how these counter wellbeing and performance. The alternative, ‘The Resilient Way’, offers both high performance and wellbeing, both without compromise. We will consider what impact Covid may have had on these cultural norms, and how we might enable resilience and wellbeing in a more holistic way. Participants will take away:
- Insight into the badges of honour and how they relate to the 4 myths of resilience & wellbeing
- Clarity of the definition of resilience as adaptability, or the measure of your capacity for change, and how this relates to performance and wellbeing.
- An overview of The Resilience Dynamic®, the Resilience Engine’s flagship research model that highlights how resilience delivers both performance and wellbeing
- A set of first steps for any organisation to start on the pathway to embracing The Resilient Way including leadership and internal capacity building.
