Event description

Description

A leader’s true tenacity and courage cannot be seen in calm waters but only in how they react to the storm

Join high-impact trainers, Andy Coley and Jo Wilson, to find out how Neuro-Linguistic Programming will make the difference to how you handle those trying times

Perhaps you manage or lead a team?

Or maybe you're a busy healthcare professional in a stressful system?

The true test of a leader’s backbone is their ability to display emotional strength, valour and competence during the difficult times.

The performance of a manager is often judged on how they structure and manage a calm resolution to a crisis, whilst maintaining a productive and motivated team, or how they manage a seamless transition of complicated change, no matter what pressures and problems are associated with that change.

The capability of a healthcare professional is frequenting assessed by their ability to search for and interpret the evidence accurately, communicate carefully and give time to each individual patient no matter what other balls they are having to juggle, moving targets they are chasing, hours they work or complex change they are going through.

Whether you are a current or future leader, manager or healthcare professional, we have devised this course specifically to help you. Enabling you to build the internal resilience you need to effectively manage your individual challenges and project the resilient image that your organisation, staff, stakeholders and patients want.

Following this content rich course you will:

  • Understand resilience and when and where you need to be ‘resilience aware’

  • Know the keys to surviving and even thriving in an environment of uncertainty and change as a leader, manager and healthcare professional

  • Understand your triggers to stress, anxiety or overwhelm

  • Be able to utilise some effective language tools to enable others to take ownership and reduce the demands on you

  • Understand how to have effective boundaries in place that can positively impact your resilience

  • Appreciate how the drama triangle affects you and your team and how to encourage yourself and others to step off the drama triangle and get a more helpful perspective

  • Recognise how your own patterns can have an adverse effect on your resilience

  • See how your own inner critic affects your resilience

  • Know how to take back control by asking some simple questions

  • Be able to apply 3 powerful NLP tools to reduce stress and build your resilience

The early bird rate only £97 including refreshments, places are strictly limited to 30 to ensure the right environment for everyone attending.

Is this workshop right for me?

You'll recognise that sometimes you need a better way to build and maintain your resilience so that you can ensure that the challenges of your current position and the need to project that infallible image does not impact your mental and physical health.

It may simply be that you know that your work/life balance is such that you find yourself exhausted, demotivated or frazzled and this impacts the areas of your life that are most important to you.

Perhaps you know that there are demanding times ahead and you need to be prepared in order to fulfil your role in a way that your organisation, staff or patients expect.

If this is the case then join us on Friday 27th April for a day that will make the difference you need in a safe, stimulating and supportive environment.
