Resilience Training

The public sector reform agenda is meaning enormous change, disruption and transition across hundreds of organisations and affecting many thousands of people across the country. At this time it’s important to stay focused, deliver results and stay resilient (for yourself and your team). What do we really mean by resilience though? Is it something that anyone can develop? And how does resilience affect performance, wellbeing and happiness?

Personal resilience is arguably the most important resource for coping well during challenging times. During the session we will explore skills that will increase your confidence in your ability to bounce back from the many pressures you encounter in today’s workplace and daily lives. In addition you will focus on reviewing the leadership required to build effective performance and wellbeing within your teams.

We will:

• Explore the links between psychological and physical wellbeing, productivity and engagement

• Understand models of resilience building

• Explore the concept of Engaging Leadership and undertake a personal leadership audit

• Develop leadership behaviours to build engaged resilient followership

We will be holding three one day sessions at the end of January and beginning of February across the North West to help ensure availability for all.
