Join us for a screening of the ground breaking documentary RESILIENCE: The biology of stress & the science of hope.

Directed by James Redford, the film RESILIENCE explains how events in childhood can affect our minds and bodies across our lives, effect our mental and physical health and life expectancy. The story behind this discovery follows one of the biggest breakthroughs in public health for a generation.

The film follows inspired individuals across the United States who are using this knowledge to bring communities together and help make the next generation more resilient to life's troubles. These groups have helped bring down rates of juvenile crime, domestic violence, suicide attempts and improve mental health, saving money and lives. The impact of this film and ACE research and practice is leading to change both in the US and across Britain.

We encourage all individuals who are interested, or who are in the fields of health, education, childcare, housing, voluntary and community organisations, parents and community members to attend.

The film is one hour and will be followed by a facilitated discussion about the film, the impact of ACE's and the opportunity we have to create change here in North Staffordshire.

You must register to attend this event as spaces are limited. Please register using your name and email. For more details:
