Friends Who Are Going
Event description

Description

Are you an adult who would like to know why medical issues can be traced back to early life experiences? Would you like to learn about the science of hope for you and all children?

What does toxic stress do and why is this important? Read on..

This event hosted by The Academy S.P.A.C.E. (Sheffield) and Catherine Knibbs (Child trauma Therapist) will screen the Documentary "Resilience", produced by KPJR films and directed by Jamie Redford.

The film covers the ACE's Study (Adverse Childhood Experiences) which looks at the science behind the developments of medical studies where conditions like heart disease can be linked to childhood experiences.

There will be a Q&A after the film facilitated by Cath Knibbs, Lynn Findlay and the Academy S.P.A.C.E. so you can find out more.

Why should you attend? Because children of all ages and stages need us to understand and to support them for healthy development. This is a film not to be missed.

Who is the film for? Anyone who works with, has or who has been a child. Please pass this on and encourage as many of your colleagues to attend.

See you there!
