Life as a musician is full of highs, lows, and curveballs. This online session will explore how you can build real resilience in the face of these unexpected twists and turns.
In it, we’ll discuss ways in which you can recover from setbacks, spot challenges early and support your peers through difficult moments. We’ll share practical tips and advice you can use to stay focused, stay well, and stay connected to the music you love – as well as the people you’re making it with.
The session will be led by Diane Wagg. Diane has enjoyed a long and entertaining career in the music business, working across roles in A&R, Artist, Producer and studio management. She’s worked with global acts including David Bowie, George Michael, Thin Lizzy, Beth Orton, The Waterboys, Republica and Scouting for Girls. She’s a passionate supporter of emerging talent, and a business advisor and qualified professional coach to the arts and creative world.
