This one hour documentary film explores how adverse childhood experienes (ACE's) can shape a childs physical and mental health. This film is important for anyone who works directly with children and wants to find out more about toxic stress and its relationship to ACE. This film highlights trauma informed policies and practices which have been developed in the U.S.A. and uses cutting edge research to explore the impact. Following the film showing a panel of local experts will share their views of the film and their experiences of working with children who have had ACE's . Sally Pearse the 0-5 years Head of area will facilitate a discussion between the panel and the audience.
