Event description

Description

A joint screening hosted by the Health and Social Care Alliance Scotland (the ALLIANCE), the National Third Sector GIRFEC Project and GCVS Everyone’s Children Project.

‘Resilience: The Biology of Stress and the Science of Hope’ is a trail-blazing documentary looking at the links between Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and poor health/disease.

This screening is for staff and volunteers working in Third Sector organisations.

The film will be followed by a panel discussion where we explore the implications of our deepening understanding of the impact of adverse childhood experiences on practice in the Third Sector, chaired by Mary Glasgow (Interim CEO at Children 1st).
