About this event

Join us for an intimate, half-day Autumn Gathering designed to support PGR researchers and students navigating eco-anxiety, climate grief, and the pressures of academic work through creative and embodied practices in nature. Timed to align with the energies of the Autumn Equinox, this seasonal gathering invites meditative reflection, art, poetry, grounding movement, and facilitated dialogue in the woods, led by eco-poet and artist Hazel Streeter.

Rooted in the Resilience Through Nature programme, this event promote peer connection, emotional resilience, and ecological awareness through an interdisciplinary and inclusive approach to nature-based wellbeing.

Everyone invited - join us!

Organized by

Resilience Through Nature is a training programme for PhD researchers at the University of Bristol.

The project creates space for PhD students to explore personal and collective questions and anxieties about climate change and ecological collapse. Together, researchers develop a sense of purpose and agency to navigate the uncertainty of the environmental crisis, feeling more connected to nature and each other.
