Event description

Description

Resilience is an essential skill in today’s workplace, where we are all working under pressure and dealing with constant change. It is the ability to bounce back after encountering problems, to adapt and creatively problem solve.

"Resilience is now recognised as an important factor in the workplace. In the increasingly and endlessly turbulent context of today’s working world, the resilience of both individuals and organisations becomes paramount in order to survive and thrive"

At the end of each workshop, participants will:

Know what resilience is

Have practised some techniques for building resilience skills: physically and cognitively, including mindfulness

Understand how to create a resilience-promoting environment in their team.

Have drawn up and started implementing a personal action plan to build their own resilience

Each workshop is delivered in two parts:

an initial 2-hour workshop, with a 1-hour follow up a few weeks later.

The gap gives time for participants to practice their resilience-building skills, so that they can reflect on what works for them and what doesn’t, during and refine their personal action plans.

Ideally each participant will stay in the same group, but if this is not possible they could completed the 1-hour follow up with a different group.

The maximum group size will be 15 participants, to allow everyone to share and ask questions
