Description

As part of our programme of workshops on resilience thinking in public services, our sixth workshop of 2015 looks at two exemplary resilience approaches in Camden:

- Emergency Management - Involving the community in emergency management plans is where resilience thinking first started. We'll be hearing from Camden's Emergency Management team on how they encourage communities to respond to emergency situations by making best use of their personal networks.

- MAC UK - MAC are an organisation that supports young people who may find themselves isolated and in need of mental health support through peer led activities. We will be joined by some of the youth leaders who will be asking us how they can better link in with our services and delivery partners.

These workshops will be useful whatever your service and are open to staff from all directorates and to external partners. Places are limited so please register your place now (please provide your work contact information).
