Gain an understanding of how to build your resilience and look after yourself to achieve success
About this event
‘Resilient and Raring to Go!’ is part of the ‘Healthy Business’ Workshop Series - a new series of workshops brought to you by Thrive and sponsored by Hatch.
Launching or growing a business is tough and it can be easy to get overwhelmed, and in the worst-case, burnout. Research from the International Business Festival UK (2018) revealed that entrepreneurs in particular find it hard to strike a work/life balance that suits them, despite the flexibility of running their own business.
In this interactive workshop, you will gain an understanding of what's important to you, how to build your resilience and look after yourself to achieve success - not just for you in the here and now, but for those around you and for the long term.
By the end of the session, you will have:
- Identified what is most important to you, and how to manage responsibilities and negotiate priorities;
- Reviewed your support network;
- Checked in with your energy levels;
- A set of strategies that work to prevent overwhelm, improve self-care and ensure sustainable success.
About the facilitator
Kathryn Eade is the Founder of Up+thrive, and works as coach and consultant specialising in mindset and resilience. Having started and scaled her own learning consultancy, and supported the development of an Entrepreneurial Hub in Montreal, her passion is now to help female founders/women in business to grow their business from the inside out, enabling them to avoid overwhelm and achieve sustainable success.
Her current work includes collaborating with business support organisations in the North West to create stand-out programmes that enable women-led businesses to innovate and scale, one-to-one coaching for women on the journey from Founder to CEO, and Board Advisor to SMEs.
Why women only?
This workshop is open to anyone who identifies as being a woman or a non-binary person.
This workshop is part of a range of business support initiatives delivered by Thrive - a social enterprise on a mission to bring together female founders so that they gain the knowledge, connections and resilience they need to grow a healthy, small business - whatever their growth ambitions.
