A virtual 45-minute wellbeing session for children aged 8 years facilitated by Jane Tyson (Resilient Kids Spaces) I have a full DBS, and am an experienced creative educator, wellness coach, community host, LIFESmart Learning Guide, founder of Resilient Kids, mum to teenagers, and have 20+ years of working with children.

Sessions are a combination of storytelling, mindful movement, nature connection and fun and creative ways to feel calm and relaxed.

Conversations with the children may also include,

-Discovering ways to overcome fears and anxiety

- Different ways to problem-solving on their own, learn from their mistakes

- Skills for the real world, life long learning

- Considering the effects of Screentime on health and wellbeing

- Thinking more independently

- Developing a 'can do' attitude

- Making friends and keeping friends

- Creating a 'growth' mindset and optimism

- The importance of community

Depending on bookings, group sizes for these sessions vary from 1 child to 8! I keep them deliberately small so the children feel comfortable.

If your child is initially anxious to attend, parents are welcome to stay close by to help them to settle in. Screens need to be on please at all times and not in bedrooms.
