About this Event
"What did you like best about attending the virtual wellbeing session today? Was it the show and tell, nature learning, yoga, mindfulness, affirmations, vision board share, visualisation or story telling?"
The resounding and unexpected vote from the group of 8 to 10 year olds, who zoomed in from countries all over the world was,
"story telling, we loved the stories!"
If your children enjoy stories, then they might like to come along and join us too!
These relaxed virtual drop-in gatherings are specifically for children aged 8 to 10 years.
Over the weeks children will investigate ways to:
- overcome fears and anxiety
- problem-solve on their own, learn from their mistakes
- think more independently
- develop a 'can do' attitude
- create a 'growth' mindset and optimism
- weave in the LIFESmart Learning Toolkit
AND also we will dip into:
- relaxation techniques
- storytelling
- creative journalling
- nature learning
- yoga ideas
- vision boarding
- affirmations that work
- gratitude as a way of life
- charismatic and powerful body language
- effortless intention setting
- mindfulness
- creating on Canva
Currently on the first Saturday of each month with Jane Tyson - full DBS, founder of Resilient Kids, mum to teenagers, 20+ years of working with kids.
Each class is only £8 and there are 8 spaces.
A zoom link will be sent on the day with password protection, please check your spam folders too.

Parents are initially welcome to participate, as the group grows and the children get to know each other and become more confident, they may prefer to be without the adults and vice versa!
