Craft Social: Resin Bowl Making from Scratch
Join us for a fun and creative resin bowl-making class at The Nook! This hands-on workshop will guide you through the process of creating your own unique resin bowl from scratch.
Class Details:
- Start Time: 10:30 AM - September 7th Sunday
- Duration: 2 Hours
- Refreshments: Enjoy pastries and refreshments during the class
- What to Expect:
- Design Creation: Begin by designing your resin bowl. You'll have the opportunity to mix colours and add decorative elements to make your bowl truly one-of-a-kind. Talk chat with friends and experiment with some techniques and watch some tutorials before you create you masterpiece
- Setting Time: Once your design is complete, it will need to sit for 5-6 hours to become tacky. During this time, the resin will start to set and become ready for moulding.
- Moulding The Nook can handle this step for you, as the resin will take awhile to become tacky enough to move before setting completely around 6 hours we will drop the completed masterpiece into the bowl shaped container for it to set completely into your bowl shape ready for you to collect in 48 hours after it has fully cured. There might be an opportunity for you to return to do this yourself but we cannot guarantee due to setting times and we will discuss on the day.
