About this event

Eliette Harris Violin, Annabel Kidd Violin, Raphael Chinn Viola, Chloe Randall Cello

Formed at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, the quartet was brought together by a shared vision of making classical music more inclusive and accessible, reaching new audiences and exploring lesser played repertoire whilst honouring the rich traditions of string quartet music. Cavatina Competition winners of both the First Prize and Audience Prize at the Wigmore Hall, and named as one of Chamber Music Scotland’s ‘Ones to Watch’, they have played at Perth Concert Hall, the Conway Hall and on BBC Radio Scotland. In 2023 the RSQ was privileged to step in to cover for the Fitzwilliam String Quartet for a performance in the York Late Music Concert Series, and enjoyed a residency in Aldeburgh as Britten Pears Young Artists. These young artists act as ambassadors for chamber music as one of the premiere string quartets based in Scotland and we are delighted to welcome them back.
