Alison Love - Resolution at Work

Alison set up her own mediation services business in 2011, following 30 years practical experience as an HR practitioner, employment lawyer and business leader.

Resolution at Work works with national clients across the public and private sectors bringing a wealth of experience and expertise to positively support those who wish to reduce the damaging impact and cost of conflict. Alison is a passionate convert to the benefits of mediation and a firm believer that the ability to positively manage conflict is a key leadership and management skill. Alison has considerable expertise and experience in providing workplace mediation services, conflict skills/leadership training and development, conflict coaching, team conflict/team development and support for organisations.

Alison is a fellow of the CIPD and winner of the Wales Award 2019 for Outstanding Contribution in the Field of People Development in Wales and Finalist in People Management Awards. Alison is an accredited workplace mediator, accredited conflict coach (CINERGY and Conflict Dynamics Profile), ILM Level 7 Executive coach, author of The Managers Guide to Mediating Conflict, shortlisted as Workplace Mediator of the Year 2022 and most recently, Conflict Coach of the Year 2022 and 2023 in the Welsh Enterprise Awards.

Mark Kirkham - Resolution at Work


Mark joined Resolution at Work in 2022, bringing with him 25 years of project management and L&D experience.

Mark’s expertise in training and development initiatives has been intrinsic to growing Resolution at Work’s innovative training provision. Mark develops and delivers bespoke training packages for a wide variety of clients and works to ensure each provision is tailored to meet the specific business requirements of each. His ability to think outside of the box and passion for delivering genuinely engaging and effective training earns him fantastic feedback from teams who have had the benefit of his expertise.

The current jewel in Mark’s training crown is the top-down creation of Resolution at Work’s Conflict Simulation Game RESOLVE! a unique training intervention that challenges teams to make true-to-life decisions based on workplace conflict scenarios in order to foster learning and discussion.

Mark is also one of Resolution at Work’s accredited Workplace Mediators, working to empower individuals to effectively manage workplace conflict.
