Course Title: Resolving Anxiety & Panic States

Description: This course is ideal for professionals working with anxious clients, whether in a cancer/health care setting or private practice. Throughout the course, you will gain a comprehensive understanding of anxiety and panic, including their manifestations and the physiological and neurological changes they trigger. You will learn effective techniques and rapid calming interventions designed to help clients manage and overcome anxiety and panic in real-time. Additionally, for those in health care settings, the course provides strategies to enhance your confidence in supporting clients facing distress related to medical procedures, such as cannulation, surgery, and treatment-related anxieties.

Dates/Time: Thursday 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd and 30th October 2025 (1330 – 1630)

Prerequisite: Suitable for Integrative Therapists, Health Care Professionals, Counsellors or any therapist working with anxious clients, whether in a cancer/health care setting or in private practice.

In the event we have to cancel a course, you will be informed with a minimum of 14 days’ notice. You may request a full refund or transfer your place to another course.

Note: Pre-booked travel and personal expenses cannot be reimbursed.

If you have booked and paid via Eventbrite you can request a refund or transfer to another course free of charge. If you would like to transfer to another course you will need to request a refund and then book onto the alternative course of your choice and pay via Eventbrite.

If you have booked and are paying via an invoice you can either:

· Transfer onto another course of the same value free of charge.

· Transfer to another course of higher value but you will need to pay the difference along with a £10 admin fee.

· Contact the ITTU to request a refund.

All of our CPD and diploma certificates are awarded by The Christie Integrative Therapies Training Unit as part of The Christie School of Oncology.
