Event description

A Gathering for Worshippers

ˈrɛz(ə)nəns/ noun

the quality of a sound that stays loud, clear, and deep for a long time; a sound being deep, full, and reverberating; a quality that makes something personally meaningful or important to someone; a sound or vibration produced in one object that is caused by the sound or vibration produced in another.

Resonance is a new quarterly gathering to equip and inspire worshippers and intercessors to pursue excellence in their gift. It will be a training ground that helps each one of us understand identity and calling and activates our gifts and abilities so we discover our individual and corporate sound.

Each time we gather together there will be extended times of worship, inspirational teaching, interactive workshops and prophetic activation. We place high value on relationship and so will have opportunities to grow and develop relationships and influential kingdom connections.

Who is it for?

Resonance is open to anyone, but our emphasis is to encourage worship leaders and their teams, musicians, singers, dancers and those who love to express their worship creatively. We also want to inspire intercessors and prayer warriors and provide an environment where they can be praying for our City and region.

Alun Leppitt

Alun is the co-founder of The Stirring, Southampton - He’s a worshipper, songwriter, author and speaker. He is passionate about leading people into life transforming encounters with God’s tangible Presence and has many testimonies of people being healed, delivered and saved during time of worship. Alun has trained and equipped worship leaders and teams for over 30 years and loves to inspire worshippers.

He is the author of "The Promise of The Presence" and in his book Alun journeys through the call of his life and testifies to the miraculous occurring in God's tangible, manifest presence. Its about passionate and wholehearted expressions of worship, that today, still draw the Presence to his people and draws all people to His Name.

Alun spends a good portion of the year travelling with his wife Donna nationally and internationally teaching, training and equipping.

Steve Abley - is a revivalist based in Winchester, England. He is a worship leader, evangelist and Chair of Trustees for Burn 24-7 United Kingdom, travelling extensively across the UK and beyond to equip and release others to reveal the heart of the Father and destroy the works of the enemy. Steve trains worship teams, churches and communities in developing musical skill, providing them with the musical vocabulary to change atmospheres prevalent in towns and cities. In May 2016 and June 2017 he directed the UK’s first city centre based prophetic worship and ministry festivals “Tent on the Green” in partnership with Winchester Cathedral and is now helping other communities to do the same.

Steve is passionate to motivate believers to run as themselves, with the unique personality and abilities God has given them, enabling individuals everywhere both to discover and excel in their own sound. He has recently given up full time work to pursue his calling as a UK worship missionary and evangelist. In 2013 Steve wrote his first book “Return of the musical prophet” a journey into the transforming power of music and sound, and is about to begin filming a follow up training website: “Missionary of Sound” teaching musicians both the theory and spirituality of their instruments, styles and abilities.

This is a FREE event but we ask you to register your place on to help us plan accordingly.

We will take an offering to help with running costs and to sow into our guest speaker.

We will provide refreshments on arrival and during the lunch break and we encourage you to bring some lunch with you and use the time getting to know other worshippers in the region.
