Resonance FM presents Live To Air, as part of White Noise's East Tower Residencies: a night of live radio broadcasts before an invited audience - YOU! - from 6.30pm to 10.30pm, featuring A World in London with DJ Ritu and local live music from veteran Calypso star Alexander D Great and steel pan virtuoso Debra Romain. Encounter with John Escolme, exploring the modernist design of TV Centre with architect Arthur Hayes and tv producer Emma Cashmore. Joe Boyd, the legendary producer and promoter, presenting a specially themed West London Edition (UFO Club, Caribbean music, the Profumo Affair) of Joe Boyd's A to Z. With live performances by Howlround: a new musique concrète commission of Robin The Fog, using sounds recorded exclusively in TV Centre; Sam Conran: a Resonance Extra commission, deploying radio signals from deep space, supported by the Jerwood Charitable Foundation; and the Resonance Radio Orchestra featuring Dudley Sutton, presenting a site-specific radiophonic extravaganza with the cult TV actor, supported by PRS for Music Foundation. Live visuals by Superlative Television.
Entry is free with refreshments provided in the break-out lounge - plus an opportunity to meet and mingle with Resonance broadcasters and fellow listeners. Running order: 6.30pm - A World In London. 7.30pm - Encounter. 8.30pm - Joe Boyd's A to Z. 9.30pm - Resonance Radio Orchestra featuring Dudley Sutton + Sam Conran + Howlround.

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
For secutiry reasons, under 18s need to have their parent sign a waiver in advance of the event. Please email the organiser in good time.
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
Good public transport links - the Tower is two minutes from White City (Central line) and Wood Lane (Circle and Hammersmith & City lines) underground. Plentiful parking in Westfeild Shopping Centre.
