Is it compulsory to attend both days?

No. The event has been set up with options to book each element separately; and there is different capacity for each event. Please register for each one separately.

Public Transport and parking in Ambleside

Accepted Answer

Ambleside is well served by buses from Windermere, where there is a train station, and from Keswick. If you are travelling by car to the University Campus, there is a pay-by-phone carpark on site. There's a public pay-and-display carpark across the road from the campus.

Question 3

How do I get to Ullswater for the site visit on Day 1?

Accepted Answer

Once you've registered we'll contact you about this. If you're travelling by car and happy to take passengers, we'll be setting up a lift scheme. We will also provide taxis/minibuses for those who require.
