Resonant Ground

By Creative Spaces Burnley

Overview

A live performance with composer, pianist and improviser Narotam Horn, in response to LOAM, a residency and exhibition with Ninon Ardisson.

A live piano performance by composer Narotam Horn, whose score for LOAM intertwines field recordings from Lancashire mills and waterways with improvisation. Tracing the pulse of labour and the flow of landscape, the performance forms a dialogue between machine and river, echoing the textures of Burnley’s industrial and natural heritage.

Narotam Horn, a recipient of this year's PRS Fund and the Asian Art Agency Award and recently performed for the opening of Arpita Singh’s exhibition at the Serpentine Gallery.

LOAM is a residency and commission with artist Ninon Ardisson with British Textile Biennial and Creative Spaces Burnley:
