Description
In the 1970s there was a pretty English girl-next-door who personified ‘glamour’. Her rise to the top was meteoric, controversial and scandalous. Mary Millington’s fame brought her a lavish lifestyle and an affair with the Prime Minister Harold Wilson . Her success had its pitfalls. Persecuted by the authorities, police corruption and tortured by self-doubt, she died at the height of her fame in August 1979 at just 33. Mary’s life unfolds as a capricious tale of Seventies’ Britain, documenting a young woman’s courage and determination as a trail-blazing sexual liberator, but thwarted by a society morally conflicted to accept her.
The Naked Truth Film Club is proud to bring you an exclusive screening of the documentary movie Respectable- The Mary Millington Story and a Q&A with Simon Sheridan the films director and guests to draw paralells with the 70's and where we are 35 years later with the rise of the internet, porn stars and webcammers.

FAQs
Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
The film is classified by the BBFC as 18 certificate. This means that no one beyng the age o 18 will be permitted to see the film and management reserve the right to refuse entry if proof of age is requested and cannot be shown
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
Public transport and NCP parking is available nearby. Please allow yourself enough time to get to the screening on time as this is a private screening
What can/can't I bring to the event?
*Purchasing a DVD or book (or both) in advance you should email the custom message you want written by emailing: admin@ukadultproducers.org. Your request will be checked against your order and presented to you on the night. Feel free to get a selfie with Simon or Jerry :-) Unfortunately the organisers cannot facilitate extra time at the for signings if you bring your own cop(ies) and cannot be held responsible due to strict time constraints of the event.

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?
Yes if you have booked and notified admin in advance. Please remeber this filmis licensed for viewing to over 18's only
Is their a refund policy?
Refunds will be considered and paid out at value to the event organiser (less charges to EventBrite) when payment has been received from EventBrite and not before

Is there any special dispensation for the adult industry?
Yes. Our sponsors encourage the adult industry to attend. Ticets are limited and given out on a first come first served basis and are non transferable. Watch this space for more info
