This course covers training that is tailored for key workers, front line workers and support staff of those that support children and adults with a learning disability, autism or both who experience trauma, neglect and abuse.

  • Respond is a national charity that has been working in the field of learning disability, autism and trauma/abuse for nearly 30 years. 
  • Respond seeks to bring about positive change that enables people with learning disabilities, autism or both who have experienced abuse, violence or trauma to live richer, more resilient lives.

  • Respond are recognised as being national experts in the field of trauma, abuse and disability, having won awards from the British Psychoanalytic Council as well as being invited on two separate occassions to contribute evidence to the independent inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse.
