Aimed at frontline workers across South Yorkshire who could be responsible for completing & submitting NRM referrals

About this Event

This training event is a chance for frontline professionals working within organisations with First Responder status to gain an in depth understanding of the NRM process & how to best support victims of Modern Slavery & Human Trafficking.

It's designed to engage, train and equip you with the knowledge and awareness of the issue of Modern Slavery and Human trafficking but more importantly increase your confidence and ability to respond appropriately

After the Training you will be able to:

  • Explain what modern slavery is and identify the different types that exist
  • Recognise the signs / indicators of Modern Slavery
  • Identify referral pathways and respond appropriately (NRM/MS1)
  • Support potential victims of Modern Slavery & Human Trafficking
  • Understand the NRM process and other alternatives
  • Confidentially complete an NRM referral
