Following an initial consultation in 2024, Sarah Boyack MSP has introduced this Member’s Bill, which will promote consideration by public bodies of sustainable development and the wellbeing of future generations. Click here for our response to the initial consultation in 2024.

What are the aims of this event?

  • to hear more about the ambitions of this proposed Bill
  • to raise awareness about the UN Sustainable Development Goals and the Bill
  • to generate discussion on policy coherence and preferences
  • to collate input from participants to generate a response for the proposed Bill
  • to encourage others to submit informed, independent contributions to the consultation
