About this event

  • Event lasts 1 hour 10 minutes

Human beings dominate the Earth's land and seas, turning them to our best advantage wherever and however we wish. But are we doing so responsibly, and what are the implications of our actions on the world's bio-diversity, and the quality of habitats for wildlife and future generations if we get it wrong? This session will look at all the above including the effects of fertilisers, pesticides and pollution, climate change, and the corrective actions that we can take.

Staffan Engström was for many years a corporate executive and strategist in companies with multi-billion turnover, playing a key role in sustainability initiatives and serving on the Midlands Business in the Community advisory board. He has been a member and chair of Worcester Cathedral's Eco Group, and is a member of the cathedral chapter.
