About this event

Please join me for this restorative yoga session with myofascial release, to teach you the art of rest and slowing down, to aid relaxation and tranquility.

We will take our cue from Mother Nature as she starts to release and let go, ready to turn inwards ahead of the winter. Heading into the autumn and winter is the perfect opportunity for us to take time to stop, to nourish and replenish ourselves.

Restorative yoga is a very slow practice using props (cushions, blocks, bolsters, blankets) to help hold and support us as we release and let go of any stress and tension.

The myofascial massage is self-delivered using a massage ball, helping to hydrate the fascia (an intricate webbing that covers muscles, bones, joints, and ligaments), which aids a softening of the muscles, enabling you to relax deeper into stretches and holds. Myofascial massage can help alleviate pain and physical discomfort, and can also help you to sleep better.

*Massage balls and yoga blocks will be provided.

*You will need to bring a drink, yoga mat, yoga bolster or alternative, blankets, eye mask, cushions, and other items to ensure your comfort and for propping.
