Parents: Prepare yourself for the best school holiday ever and get to know the new Rivelin Woodland Skills Leaders!
A four session program for adults in nature to help you feel restored and revived and more connected. Run by Zoe, one of the new Rivelin Woodland skills team and assisted by Sally, custodian.
This is for you if
· You need a pick me up before the school holidays
· You feel stressed and overwhelmed when thinking of the school holidays
· You feel tired, run down and exhausted
· You need time for you, time out and a chance to slow down
· You are focused on doing for others, leaving you with no space of energy for yourself
· Your brain feels that full or foggy they you are struggling to come up with ideas and plans for a family summer
· You find it difficult to find enjoyment in everyday routine. You have forgotten the last time you had fun or took a step away from the to do list
· You have lost a sense of self and those around you
· Your mind is full and you are struggling to sleep
· You just want to spend time outdoors and get to know us and more about our future plans

We all know that Rivelin Woodland skills is great for our kids health, wellbeing and life skills. So it follows that it would also be a good environment for us to get away from the everyday treadmill of modern life. We deserve this as much as our children.
Join Zoe and Sally, Occupational Therapists, who specialise in nature based health and wellbeing activities. We have over 30 years combined experience of working in mental health, have lived experience of burnout and have come out the other side, by using nature based approaches. We are passionate to share our expertise, help prevent burnout of others and make you feel refreshed, energised, revived and ready for the best school holidays ever!
During these sessions we will:
· Hold a space for you to slow down, rest and reflect
· Provide a variety of nature based activities
o Nature crafts
o Foraging/exploration and playful activities
o Walks
o Mindful activities and strategies to help you to take notice, switching from doing to being
o Time at our allotment space
o Strategies to help you incorporate nature and wellbeing into your daily life
o Learn about the importance of nature in health and wellbeing

what about it? dress appropriately and you will be fine, we have some sheltered areas, but waterproofs may be required if we go off site
the site is accessed via a steep hill; please contact us to discuss if you have any mobility concerns prior to booking
Yes, there is some limited parking on Bole Hill Road; an email will be sent with instructions nearer to the time
