About this Event
An evening to unwind and relax, take things slowly, settle into deep relaxation and, hopefully, have the most wonderful night's sleep afterwards.
In Restorative Yoga, classic yoga poses are held for a longer time, maybe three to five minutes, with lots of props (cushions, bolster, blocks, books, blankets) to support the body in the pose. This is suitable for all abilities, no previous yoga experience needed.
Yoga Nidra is sometimes called yogic sleeping or yogic dreaming, no effort is needed, just to settle into a comfortable position and listen with intention.
We will meet at 7 pm on Zoom, start with some gentle stretches and breathing, settle into our Restorative Yoga poses, followed by Yoga Nidra.
You will need your yoga mat, or a space about the size of a mat, your device to log into Zoom, and some cushions and a blanket.
Before the RESTORE evening we will post out a little letterbox gift... maybe a favorite relaxing tea, or an aromatic moisturising cream (it will be a little surprise).
The Zoom link will be sent by Eventbrite email and also by WhatsApp.
