Description

The North London Forensic Consortium (NLFC) is a collaboration between Forensic Services across North London under the New Care Model system. We have a common aim, which includes treating people close to home in compassionate services that are of a very high standard.

All of the partners share a vision to reduce restrictions in forensic services and to help people live constructive, meaningful and safe lives in the community. We want to learn and support each other in making a real difference to the lives of the people we care for.

This will be the first Conference to be hosted by the NLFC. We have chosen a focus of “Reduced restrictive practices in forensic mental health services”. This event will bring together the different providers along with commissioners, regulators and campaign bodies.

It will provide a stimulating space for delegates to learn from each other’s good practice and thus to bring back ideas to develop their own services. It will also be an opportunity to network with each other and to debate issues facing forensic mental health services in the future.

This conference is CPD certified. The content is relevant to anyone working in the health or social care sector, particularly in secure services, and who wish to share and learn from good practice.
