The Charity Retail Association is delighted to announce its first full day of retail gift aid training. The day will be led by Liz Brownsell, Associate at Blake Lapthorn LLP. Blake Lapthorn has extensive experience of helping charities and not-for-profit organisations to deal with every aspect of running their organisations and Liz has provided the CRA and its members with specialist advice around retail gift aid, and particularly about the HMRC changes which came into being last year.
The training is aimed at charities which already operate a Gift Aid scheme and would like to brush up on legal and compliance requirements around Gift Aid. It will be relevant to charities running any of the three Gift Aid processes: standard method, Process A and Process B. The day will take the form of a combination of verbal briefings and presentations from Blake Lapthorn, interspersed with interactive, practical tasks. A more detailed agenda for the day will be published in due course.
The session is kindly hosted by Blake Lapthorn LLP at their offices in Oxford.
The early booking fee is £100 for CRA members until Friday 28 February. After 28 February the fee will increase to £125. The fee for non-members is £200.
Numbers are very limited for this day in order to ensure attendees get the most out of the training, and therefore we advise members to book early to avoid disappointment.
You will receive a full agenda and registration details for the day in due course.
