The EPA is working with UK retailers to develop and launch a retailer-only PayTech community focused on education, knowledge-sharing and cross-industry collaboration.
The Forum has been developed by the Emerging Payments Association (emergingpaymrnts.org) – a community of the worlds most progressive payments companies – and UK retailers of all shapes and sizes, across sectors. These retailers were working in silos to address a range of payments-related challenges, which are rooted in common causes, and now agree that cross-industry collaboration is a far more effective approach to solutions.
80+ retailers are engaged so far and Ben Fricke, a veteran of the UK’s quick service restaurant industry and the Forum’s Retailer Ambassador, is urging retail colleagues to join him at the launch event on 29 September 2016.
Confirmed delegates include:
- Arriva Group
- House of Fraser
- MRH (petrol forecourts)
- Post Office
- Rank Group
- The Body Shop
- Wyevale Garden Centres
Who should attend?
Colleagues working for any UK retailer are encouraged to get involved. Delegates come from a range of buisness functions - Payments/Fraud, Commercial, IT, Ops, eComm, Innovation and more. All have a stake in payments-related projects.
