About this event

Food & Drink • Other

Over 380 million single-use cups are used in Scotland every year, an average of 71 cups per person per year, which is one of the highest rates compared with other nations in the European Union.

Are you a cafe, coffee shop or other businesses which sells hot drinks in Lanarkshire?

Join us to discuss the Scottish Government's proposal to introduce a charge on single-use cups and to understand what the implications are for your business and how we can help you prepare and be ahead of the game in exploring different options for reusable cups.

Zero Waste Scotland and Keep Scotland Beautiful will both be coming along to talk about their pilot projects which aimed to reduce single-use waste.

There will be plenty of opportunity on the day for discussion, to share ideas and be inspired to take action.
