Part of the DIVERSIFAIR Erasmus+ project, this interactive workshop explores how AI policies address - or overlook - fairness, with a focus on intersectional harms. Through presentations, case studies, and group discussions, participants will examine policy gaps and explore tools for more inclusive AI governance.

Hosts:

  • Ilina Georgieva, LL.M. – Senior Specialist Scientist in AI Governance and Regulation / External PhD Researcher at Leiden University. DIVERSIFAIR scientific lead. Ilina’s work focuses on AI governance, international cyber norms, alternative regulation strategies, and intersectionality in inclusive decision-making.
  • Susan Leavy – Assistant Professor, School of Information & Communication, University College Dublin. Susan’s research focuses on AI ethics and digital policy. She is an Irish Government Nominee to the Global Partnership on AI (GPAI) and a member of the Irish Government AI Advisory Council.

Participants will receive a certificate of attendance.
