Rethinking Assessment: Eton and AI Assessment
Overview
Welcome to the Rethinking Assessment Practice Network!
New for 2025-26! The RA Practice Network is free for all schools and colleges and provides access to a programme of online events throughout the academic year, designed for teachers, lecturers, leaders and practitioners who want to explore what is possible in the world of assessment.
Our aim is to convene a space for inspirational big picture thinking, together with practical support and strategies to build staff confidence and understanding.
This session: Tues March 10th 4-5pm
Jonnie Noakes, Director of Teaching and Learning, Eton
Eton’s approach to AI and assessment
As part of the Network’s strand on AI and assessment, Jonnie Noakes, Director of Teaching and Learning at Eton will share their current thinking and developments, opening up discussion around Eton’s approach in this fast moving area. Eton is leading R&D in this area currently, testing edtech platforms, developing its own AI tools and thinking deeply about the AI literacy skills needed for the future. Recordings will only be sent to those who attend, as space is limited.
What is the network? Sponsored by AQA, the RA Practice Network offers a curated programme of expert voices on assessment methods, assessment design for skills, and AI in assessment, together with teachers and school leaders sharing the current working projects.
How does it work?
