Description
Rethinking Leadership is the first of four modules in the Step On: Step Up Programme.
This programme is targeted at new and existing first line managers and supervisors and seeks to provide the knowledge, skills and attitude to thrive as a manager and leader of people during the council's transformation to its new Target Operating Model and beyond.

In this module, you will:

understand more about the environmental factors that are driving the Council's Transformation journey and what this means in practice

get clarity on the changing expectations and responsibilities required as a manager and leader of people in the modern workplace

focus on who you are and who you want to be as a manager, gaining insights into your preferred leadership style and what this means in practice when managing a team of unique individuals

be clear about where you are on your management journey, where your skills and knowledge gaps might be and how you can begin to close these gaps
