What accommodation is available?

Accepted Answer

Accommodation is offered on a first come, first served basis. There are lovely, spacious bedrooms available for single occupancy. There are also two off-grid pods on-site with wood burning stoves. Please contact us to secure accommodation. You can also stay off-site, with a range of options nearby.

How accessible is the retreat venue?

Accepted Answer

The spaces we will use at The Sanctuary are on ground level. Physical activities, movements, seating, lighting etc. can be adapted according to need. The Sanctuary is set in 11 acres of private woodland - there are paths to the main work and accommodation spaces, though ground may be uneven.

Question 3

Who can attend the retreat?

Accepted Answer

This retreat is designed for adults (18+) who may be experiencing, or at risk of burnout. Anyone with an interest in improving their wellbeing, preventing burnout and being part of creating an inclusive, supportive space is welcome to join us.

Question 4

Will food be provided?

Accepted Answer

Simple, nutritious, plant based meals will be provided - please let us know about any dietary requirements when you book. Teas, coffee and cold drinks will also be available. You are welcome to bring your own supplies in addition to joining us for meals.

Question 5

What will we be doing at the retreat?

Accepted Answer

Activities will be tailored to the needs of the group, but will include: 5+ breathwork sessions,
group activities, solo reflection activities, optional coaching sessions, time to explore the grounds and beyond, evening campfire sessions with discussions and activities.

Question 6

How do I get to the retreat venue?

Accepted Answer

The Sanctuary is situated within easy access of Brechin and Montrose. There are regular trains from Edinburgh, Dundee, Aberdeen, London etc. By car, it’s a beautiful drive from Edinburgh, taking around 90 minutes. We are able to offer limited local pickups - please contact us to arrange.

Can I attend for part of the weekend?

Accepted Answer

You'll get the full benefit of taking 3 days out of your schedule to focus on recharging and taking support. However, we understand that this isn't always possible. Please contact us to discuss options for late arrival/leaving early or 1 and 2 day options/costs.
